Certification Committee
The Certification Committee reviews and maintains the application and portfolio process to ensure relevance to the industry. The committee also reviews and approves the applications and portfolios for examination eligibility.
Education Committee
The Education Committee creates and maintains a variety of ACHA learning programs including Workshops, Seminars and Roundtables.
Examination Committee
The Examination Committee assists in the development of the ACHA examination to ensure that the examination is professionally sound and legally defensible. The committee ensures that all examination questions refer to the detailed content outline and can be referenced appropriately. The committee also participates in item writing reviewing sessions and reviews of the examination to ensure accurateness.
Certificate Holders Committee
The Certificate Holders Committee assists in the recruitment of ACHA candidates and retention of current certificants. The certificants provide call-back services to answer questions and mentor candidates who have expressed interest in the ACHA examination.
Public Relations and Communications
The Public Relations Committee strengthens the ACHA through public relations, marketing and advertising strategies. This committee manages ACHA’s website, create its newsletter, E-Memo’s, recruiting materials, and awareness campaigns for the healthcare industry.
